J came to our house when he was just four days old — the most beautiful little boy with the cutest chubby cheeks. He arrived with a big frown, and for months we stayed up through the night because he cried so much. Through constant love, many prayers, and by God’s grace, our darling child eventually walked out of our home with a big smile and confident, cheerful little footsteps.
Our little J has the softest heart. With a mischievous look in his eye and the sweetest smile, he was always busy and curious, eager to discover new things. His happiest moments were spent outdoors — playing in the dirt, watering the garden, or riding on his little cars.
He loved helping with the vacuum cleaner and broom, always more interested in real things than toys. Music made him dance and wiggle with joy. Sometimes he’d stand with his hands behind his back, watching intently, as if making plans. His favorite foods were blueberries, strawberries, and apples. J’s motor skills developed early — he crawled at six months and walked at eleven. He loved figuring things out, like how stroller wheels worked or how to buckle his car seat. He knew everyone’s shoes and always brought the right pair to the right person.
He didn’t always warm up to strangers but was very comfortable with familiar people. He loved being praised and would repeat things proudly, clapping his hands for himself. We’re thankful to say that J is returning to his biological mommy, with his little brother, aunt, and wider family. We believe faith will always be part of who you are, dear Josh. You will touch many lives with your faith and God’s truth. Be a bringer of light, stand firm, and know that goodness and love will follow you all your days.

Our dearest little boy W was our curly-haired treasure, with the softest, sweetest heart. When the other children cried, he would feel their sadness so deeply that he would start to cry too. His big, dark eyes held endless warmth, and his smile came so easily, even when he was very sick—it could light up the room.
He made the most precious little faces when we bathed him—squinty eyes, big open mouth, a little bundle of joy in every expression. He loved to turn his tiny neck so we could shower him with kisses and cuddles. W was content in the simplest ways, happily absorbed with a toy for long stretches, or soothing himself by sucking on his hands when his gums itched.
Though his gentle spirit is no longer with us in the house, we carry him in our hearts every day, knowing he is safe, loved, and happy with his grandma and his own family.

O is our miracle child—a precious little boy who reminds us daily of what faith and hope can do. In the beginning, we were deeply concerned about his health but then the Lord touched his life in the most beautiful way.
Today, we stand in awe as we watch his development, his milestones, his growth—all unfolding perfectly, right on time, just as they were meant to. He is full of life: a joyful soul with a bright, extroverted heart that fills every room with laughter and light.
From early on, he made the sweetest little sounds, and his laugh… oh, his laugh was unforgettable. It wasn’t a baby’s laugh—it was full-bodied and rich, like that of a big boy. It made us want to scoop him up and never let go. He brought so much delight that we could hardly believe such joy could be held in someone so small.
He started by sliding across the floor on his tummy, and then at six months, he began crawling in the most adorable way—hands and feet on the floor, with his tiny bum high in the air, as if he were ready to take on the world. At five months, his first bottom teeth peeked through, followed by his top two teeth at six months—little signs of a boy growing strong and steady.

Baby L arrived with a full head of hair - our very first baby with such a beautiful, thick little crown. From the moment we saw her, her big, soulful eyes and gentle smile captured every heart in the room. She was a quiet spirit - an introvert with the softest little heart and the calmest nature.
She was our peaceful, content little doll, always observing, always present in her own thoughtful way. There was a calmness about her that seemed to settle the whole group - like a hush of peace wrapped in a tiny body. We remember the deep little growl she made whenever we asked, "Where's the lion?" — followed by her shy, proud smile when we clapped and cheered for her.
She had her own special way of moving, scooting forward on her little bottom with determination and grace. Baby L wasn't loud or demanding - but her presence filled the room in quiet, powerful ways. And now, our hearts ache with longing for this sweet little love. She left a softness behind that we still carry with us.

Baby M was our most beautiful, sweetest, and most delicate little doll. From the very beginning, she carried a gentleness that wrapped itself around your heart. She was such a clever little girl - always curious, always listening - and she started making little sounds so early, it was as if she couldn't wait to speak to the world.
When she laughed from deep in her tummy, her little eyes would crinkle into slits, and it lit up the whole room. She adored hugs - tight, lingering ones - and she found comfort resting her tiny head on our shoulders during nap time. We all knew her ticklish spot: just under her chin, where a soft touch would bring out the sweetest giggles. At six months, she started crawling, eager to explore the world around her.

He was the very first little baby to grace our home at Tswalo. A gentle, easygoing boy with a heart full of sunshine. From the very beginning, he was everyone's precious darling - our "Liefste Liefie". He adored cuddles and soaked up every bit of love we could give him - and still, it never felt like enough.
His smile lit up the room, wide and joyful, mouth open in pure delight whenever he saw us.
There was something about his presence - something warm, anchoring, unforgettable. When the time came for him to go to his forever parents, he left behind more than just quiet rooms. He left a space in our hearts - not empty, but forever full of his memory.
